SEAL Systems sent a mobility survey in
early march, reaching professionals within the SAP and PLM communities from the
US and Canada.
This survey provided insight from more
than 100 companies, on the efficiency of current mobile applications and future
development roadmaps. The results show that 61% of the work force is already
using mobile applications within their day to day operations, and are looking
for enhancements within this topic.
The remaining 39% noted that they are
interested in integrating mobile applications into their current business,
assuming that the functionality, expenses and training fulfill their
requirements.
The survey also provided a section to
add comments in regards to the subject of mobility within the workplace. With
this section, professionals had the opportunity to provide insight based on
firsthand experience using mobile applications, and their individual needs in
regards to document conversion and distribution.
SEAL Systems, Inc CEO, David Salamanek
stated, “This type of feedback will enable us to appropriately direct our
software development to help companies achieve their technology goals.”
