Functionality
A document collection request can be initiated by manually entering information (ex. a material number) or by scanning a barcode with a mobile device. The well-known SEAL Systems “Collection Transactions” are then launched and collect all relevant documents from the object specific SAP structures automatically – regardless of their file format, storage mode or location.

The well-known SEAL Systems “Collection Transactions” are then launched and collect all relevant documents from the object specific SAP structures automatically – regardless of their file format, storage mode or location.
Before the documents
are exported or displayed as PDF files, additional editing functions are
designed to add Meta Data to the documents in the form of virtual stamps and
watermarks. This can include status information, company logo, user name,
date and time.
Finally, the
documents are delivered to the mobile device in the form of a web portal,
sorted according to the object structures in SAP. For flexibility and security
reasons, SEAL Systems provides two access modes: Storage of the collected
documents on a central server or portal or direct transmission to the mobile
device. While the second option allows for document access even in offline
situations, the central storage option ensures that sensitive documents cannot
be carried outside the company structures.
